Hey Scotty is a 1995 Chevy impala ss reliable, an good car to have for a toy/summer driver

If it checks out could be a fun toy. But remember it has the mid 90's LT1. While the engine is pretty good, it came with the Opti-spark distributor, and the low mounting on the front of the engine meant the Opti suffered from exposure to road water, grit, and salt far more than the typical distributor. And it if that wasn't bad enough it was located under the water pump, so if that part failed, or a hose failed, it took the distributor out. So just something to keep in the back of your mind when looking at it.
