My 2010 Chevy Impala starts to shut down when I drive for long periods of time(1hr) at high speeds, even if I step on the gas all the way it'll just keep decelerating until it comes to a complete stop and my stirring wheel starts to lock during the deceleration too. I just want to drive!!!!!
Does it start immediately after coming to a stop? Or do you have to wait for a few minutes/hours for it to start again?

Sounds like a failing alternator… have it checked. how old is your battery?
sounds to me like an electrical issue.

Any code on the dash?
have you load test the battery and alternator?
