Hey guys while looking for a car, I seen and heard infinitis are good. Is there an awd and are they reliable and also which 1 you recommend I should buy?
Clarification: How many years and miles do you need it to last you?
Probably like 4 or 5
Compared to old Acuras or most Lexus products - Infiniti's are definitely worse.
BUT that being said, some older ones like the G37 are alright. The V6 engine is not bad, and the 7 speed automatic is a bit weak but still better than most. WITH LOW MILLAGE AND GOOD MAINTENANCE, they're really not bad at all.
BUT, Newer ones are not great at all... In recent years (10 years or so) quality has gone downhill (exactly like Nissan).
If you want infinite problems and an infinite money pit, then yes, they are good cars.
Lol damn ight, appreciate the heads up for real
They become money pits as they age, so if you find something new with very low mileage, it can be a decent one.
If you're buying a used Infiniti with over 100k miles, run away because it will become a money pit after that.
Yeah Dan hit the nail on the head. An older acura/lexus is gonna hold up better, but then again those are top tier car companies when it comes to reliability. The G37s seem to hold up well actually, alot of guys rag on them and they stay running. The thing is infinits are expensive to repair like any luxury car, but its also a nissan, so it'll require maintenance ($$$) more frequently than an acura/lexus. But, with anything, have a good mechanic look at it. There's always a chance you find a good one.
