Also I was told to purchase a car instead of paying a car note that’s comes with a high interest rate and depreciate as soon as you drive it off the lot . In your opinion what do you think should be my best decision PLEASEE HELP ME I’m looking to buy from a dealership.
Which engine does the jeep have- 3.7 V6, 4.7 V8 or 5.7 Hemi V8?
Acura by far.
I gave up on Jeep when they stopped offering the 4.0 inline 6
old Acura models are great,
Jeep made some of the worst cars.
But a RAV4 or a Honda CR-V are probably a safer bet - if you can find one that's in similar condition for a similar price.
With that being said, These have turbocharged engine, when an Acura brakes down it can get really expensive really quickly! So you must get the Acura inspected by a mechanic (so he can make sure that the transmission is good, [almost no one knows how to repair these Honda transmissions] that the chain isn't stretched yet and that the turbo is still in good condition, and all the other things as well), make sure it has good maintenance records, that the milage is not too high, and that you're paying a reasonable price for a 12 year old compact crossover.
Also I wouldn't buy from a dealer or a lot - unless you are 100% sure that the car is in good mechanical condition and that the price is within reason. a lot of them are just professional scammers at this point...
