Dear Scotty,
Anything I can do to extinguish these three lights which came on at the same time and in checking the gas cap found it was not sealing and holding pressure.
New dealer supplied Toyota gas cap definitely feels like it is sealing(slight resistance) as I turn the cap to the first click. Just keep driving? But for how long? {black}:idontknow:
Thanks for your time on this. Brin Englar
Do a reset.
On some cars, it takes a couple of hundred miles driving to reset itself.
Have you read the OBD2 codes? all you usually need is a cheap OBD2 scanner.
After you read the codes, to see what is actually causing the fault, you can clear them.
I doubt that it's fuel cap related - I haven't ever seen that happen on a Toyota but who knows.
As @Doc said - Read and Clear the OBDII codes.
If the codes are gas cap related (EVAP) then I'd clear the codes to see what happens next.
If they come back after the reset the issue probably hasn't been solved.
