Just bought a salvage 2013 Infiniti M37 with minor rear left quarter panel damage from a private party, it has 88k miles and bought it for 10k. I wanted to know if there’s anything known about this car, that I should look out for?

You bought a salvage car. Literally everything is suspect. That is why I NEVER recommend doing that as it is worth scrap value only.

The definition of salvage is junk.

Keep an eye on the automatic transmission as Nissans are known to make weak automatic transmission ; preferably, get it checked by a mechanic for peace of mind

Other than that, their V6s are pretty reliable from what I know, as they have been making V6s for a long time. One thing I am wondering is that if the damage was minor, why was the car salvaged?
