Scotty, would you buy a 2015 Infiniti QX80 limited with 133k miles? My father brought it 2 years ago and recently passed away. The pay off is $18900. Is it worth it and reliable?
If you do a quick search of this model on the forum you'll see the general consensus is that it's not a good option for keeping above 100k ish miles if you want something reliable and trouble free. I would suggest if you want a car like this then consider previous Toyota Sequoia (before the new 2023 model so they don't have the turbocharged engine) or something from Lexus or if you can find a good Land Cruiser.
The pay off is $18900
That's less than what they're worth on the market, so at worst you can just sell it and probably make a profit.
It's not great, but it's not bad either - the 5.6L V8 is a good engine and the conventional automatic transmission is alright (Although it's reasonably reliably it's usually the first major thing that breaks)
The main issue I see is the millage.
It is not a good idea to keep it for a long time if you decide to get it. They are expensive in repairs and not reliable at that mileage.
I would pass on that.
