ok so I have a 1979 Mercedes benz 300 sd turbo diesel and found out that it dose have a rebuild transmission in it already but the reason its been sitting is because they parked it one day and did not plug it in and the next day tried to start it and it wouldn't start cuz it was cold that day so it sat since then so now I have it and have some knowledge of vehicles and been trying to find this question and that is how do you drain the old diesel out of it when I can only find the gas tank inside the trunk of the car

Great old car. Textbook example of “they don’t build’em like they used to”. As long as you aren’t in a hurry it will get you where you want to go.
