How do I fix rough starting Pathfinder

Hey Scotty, on my 1997 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 Auto v6 with 180,000 miles I’m having an issue where on a warm restart after 30 minutes or an hour you get a stumble and fluttering upon startup for few seconds.

Fuel Pressure test shows a leak down occurring as I dropped 11 psi after 25 minutes.

I am planning on performing the pressurized fuel cleaning at the rail using the OTC injector cleaner and the tool. Could this cleaning method cause the issue to worsen if it doesn’t fix it? Or cause any damage to the injectors?

It’s too cold now for me to be able to pull the intake plenum and change all injectors. So am hoping this can fix them without further causing problems.

if done properly, a fuel system cleaning shouldn't hurt anything

I don’t think so, it just won’t run right if it shows no improvement after the cleaning.

like you said, replacing the I injectors when convenient.
