Had my old Edge off duty for over a year and the battery is way past it’s due date. Living in West Coast Canada, any recommendations for a new battery. Lordco, Canadian Tire, Costco, or one from the Ford Dealership?
Also I have had the radio replaced once under warranty and tested a few times also under warranty however never was the problem solved. ( the radio will turn on sometimes even when the ignition is turned off. Has anyone every experienced this with their 2008 Edge?

F****** 80 and tires usually. Ask for the radio it turns on even with the car turned off it probably has a module problem because those things are made so that the radio can stay on until the door is opened even the cars turned off so I would assume that's the problem

OEM battery will be the best. The Costco one will work fine but it won't last as long.

So now that I have no warranty left on my old car, and with all the tests I have had done at the Ford dealer with no one ever suggesting a module problem, could I instal a switch inside the car to shut off power to the battery when I turn the key off. So my future new battery doesn’t get drawn down to no voltage from my sneaky module problem radio? Is it possible to do this?

 Thanks
