Topic starter
Scotty,
2015 Corolla 140k runs great, perfect preventive maintenance. A few times a month after the car is warm, it won't start, turns over sounds like not getting gas. If I wait about 15-20 minutes it starts right up. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to die at my mechanic's place, so he cannot help me, although he replaced the starter, which did nothing.
I think it is the fuel pump, I put in a fuel lubricate and it seemed to help, but still have the problem occasionally.
thanks,
Bob V

Well here's an easy way to test the pump. Have some starting fluid when it doesn't start. Take the air filter out. Spray starting fluid in there and if it starts the pump's not working
