Hi Scotty! I have a 2005 Mazda 6S 3.0 V6, AT, 145,000 miles. I had a doctors appointment out of town. About 100 miles round trip. When I went to start the car it hesitated to start. The check engine light came on. We had the code read at the parts store. P2108 Throttle Actuator Control Module Performance. When we are driving at light acceleration the car starts jumping around. It doesn't act like it would shut off or stall out. Once I give it more gas it stops doing that and goes normally. No problem on the interstate at high speeds. The check engine light went off. It idles fine when stopped. No rough idle. I plan on cleaning the throttle body and the maf sensor. I just wanted to get your take on what to do if that doesn't fix the issue. The throttle bodies for this car are hard to find and expensive. Also I was not sure if it could be the accelerator pedal position assembly or the powertrain contol module. I was hoping you could help me narrow down the issue before I spend on the wrong parts. Thank you.
There are several possible causes for that code that you can check for:

Thanks. I cleaned the throttle body and maf sensor but that didn't fix the issue. Then I installed a new throttle body but there was no change. It still has intermittent acceleration issues. I called a mechanic but they can't get me in until May. I guess I will have to wait.
