Scott hey I just picked up a used 2005 Volvo V50 T5 AWD with 151k, I've had the vehicle a little over 1 month and have put on 101 miles on, just a little over 1.5 weeks i noticed when starting the vehicle it would intermittently crank then start. There is not ticking when starting, just the engine slowly cranks, battery is good. I have not taken it to get the codes checked. I'm thinking it might be the starter and not an electrical thing through my research on YouTube and online. Any suggestions? No check engine lights or notifications. Thanks

If the battery is good and the cables connecting to the terminals are tight, odds are that the starter is on its way out.
