Scotty: I have a 2011 F-150 V6 EcoBoost with 92000 miles. We travel to the Phoenix area every winter...upon arriving at/near the City each year the check engine light comes on and the BlueDriver OBDII Scan Tool shows 'P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2'. When we drive back to Nebraska the check engine goes off after we get a few hundred miles from the city...this has been the pattern for the last 5 years...what is going on?
P0430 is basically the same as P0420 but on engine bank #2:
