Hi from Australia
I have a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon GK 2.7 litre with a intermittent starting problem and high idle at 1200 normal is 800 running rough ( not on all cylinders) puffing black smoke under revs and smells like fuel when it runs like this. But it’s not all the time. It has been to three mechanics and one auto electrician no one can diagnose my car. I have replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, air filter, throttle position sensor, air idle sensor, maf sensor, crank angle sensor. Cleaned the throttle body and oxygen sensors pre and post. I have a cam sensor on order. 143040 kms. I’m a private party this is my own car. Scan tool used and no codes.  Please help!!
Thank you Shelley

Well black means it's running too rich so it's getting too much fuel could be worn out injectors lots of things start with better mechanics. After my experience I know is why the times you got to replace the injectors at that age
