Hello Scotty could bad timing cause no compression in only one cylinder I have a 2001 Pontiac grand am gt with zero compression in one cylinder

No it can't they would all be bad if the timing was off not just one cylinder probably have a broken valve or Cam are piston rings

"No compression" means the cylinder is unable to build up pressure. That means pressure is escaping, because it does not seal properly. Spark timing is completely unrelated to how an engine cylinder seals.
