Hello, so I have 2011 Chevrolet traverse with about 100k miles on it. I've been feeling a strange vibration in the gas pedal when I'm driving in the interstate at speeds at about 70-80 mph, sometimes at lower speeds of 20 or so mph but that's more rare, it almost always happens at higher speeds. I have changed many things by doing research on the internet, and so far I have changed brake dics, lower control arms, wheel hubs and the strut assemblys. What am I missing here. Your help is much appreciated!
How about a wheel alignment?
@oneimich
I had one done, after changing the control arm.
Have you checked your transmission?
@yaser
The transmission it self or the mount to it?
The transmission itself.
@yaser
I haven't had any Transmission problems. Is there something specific that I should look for? Could you elaborate a little as of why it would be the Transmission?
The vibration you are talking about.
so you only feel it in the accelerator pedal, and not the steering wheel or your seat? That's strange indeed.
@mountainmanjoe
Yes, strange indeed.
Drive axles.
Alignment doesn't affect vibrations, it only does when it's totally off.
@mrrangerzr1
that would be felt more in the steering wheel don't you think?
Nope. Floor board.
@mrrangerzr1
I have examined both sides for grease and damage on the boot when I replaced the wheel hubs, but I did not see anything. But maybe I didn't look hard enough, or is broken on the inside? Is there another test that I can do to find out if they in fact worn?
Also check for exhaust leak.
