Not a hot -rodder
From what I have read, Iridium plugs may not be worth the cost on my 3.8 six Mustang with auto trans, as platinum plugs have maybe 40,000 on them - however, I was wondering if either of these Iridium plugs, probably from NKG or whatever, would be a reasonable investment? I am reading maybe a ten percent increase in gas mileage, with lower emissions? I sometimes drive my car for long trips, and daily to work. Are these plugs good for a basic daily driver car, or are they not suitable for that? My plugs are easy to get too, so that is not a factor.

Use iridium plugs, but just know that the only benefit they’ll provide is longevity.

In this case it might be just easier to stick to the platinum plugs that you’re already running, especially if you’re saving $$$ by not going iridium.
Don’t always believe the marketing BS.
