Scotty, Im Buying a 2015 Honda Accord V6 EXL WITH 36000 Miles. Well Maintained & Good Service Records. Owner of the Vehicle is 47 Year old. Drives only for work & home. Heard that it needs Valve Clearance & Adjustments. How about the Transmissions. Based on your Suggestion i will make a Decision..! Waiting for your Suggestion.

Clarification: Sedan or Coupe?

That is definitely a fun to drive car. Honda's do eventually need valve adjustments but at 36,000 miles you are good. It is more like 100,000 miles that you have to start thinking about it. Traditionally the transmissions were a little weak and if you drove them hard it could burn out the transmission, especially with the V6 where it puts out more power. However, in 2015, Accord transmissions weren't as weak as they once were. If you aren't going to be driving like a complete maniac you should be good. That is overall a good solid car and I would buy a V6 Accord over a turbocharged Accord anyday.

I would do the valve adjustment now. About the transmission, the V6 puts out too much power for the transmission and so it is the weak point of the car. Before buying, make sure to have the car checked by your mechanic.

See below:  If sedan, then that engine came with cylinder deactivation (or what Honda calls VCM), which can potentially lead to engines issues over time.  If coupe, then when paired with the automatic it had VCM, but if paired with the manual then it did not.  2015 V6 coupe with manual would be ideal. But if you get with the VCM, I would disable it as soon as you can.
