I have a used 2002 chevy trailblazer LTZ with 265k miles that i’ve had since high school for about 4 years , I’m thinking about selling it because at this point it’s falling apart but I need something with 4wd for winter in Washington ,and relatively bigger , we do a bit of hauling , would love some advice .
It all depends on who took care of the car in the first place.
What is the price? Dealership or private party? Was anything on the vehicle replaced? Are there any maintenance records?
NOOO! The 5.4 Triton V8 was the worst engine in that gen F-150. I would run as far away as you can from that truck, you are better off buying one with a V6 or the 5.0 V8.
I had a 2003 Ford F-150 4WD V-6 for 16 years. I can't personally address the V-8 engine, but I have always heard they were trouble. Mine went 260K miles and by that time it was a total rust bucket. Both the body and frame. It saw a moderate winter driving.
