Hey Scotty,
I got a 2015 Kia Soul that has 127,000 miles and is automatic. I recently got a AAA Battery that was brand new on May 2024. Is it considered too old for the car? I had to replaced an old one because it died. When should I start checking the battery?
Thank you Scotty,
Lorenzo

I usually look for car batteries no more than a month old but 3 months isn't too terrible.
@chucktobias yea I usually do that, but because my car battery died I had to replace it. Plus the battery i replaced was free
@lorenzorocks Hard to argue with free!

Yeah not that bad, I would prefer as new as possible though. Considering where I live is pretty cold, batteries normally last 8 years or more, a couple of months won't make much of a difference.
