What are your guys' thoughts on the Dodge Dart? I've read a lot of negative things about them but from others I've heard that if you maintain it well, it's a strong car.

They stop making them 5 years ago. So your going to by a 5 plus years old vehicle.
They are horrible cars
They're awful - they have very weak automatic transmissions and the engines aren't much better. The build quality is terrible and they usually fall apart around 70K-80K miles.
I heard from someone on the forum that the ones built in the 60’s were good.
but the ones from 2012 onward, not so good.
See here: Save your money and look for something else. Good maintenance will only take you so far; it cannot make up for poor engineering and design.

Imagine that even GM drops the car.
If you want a reliable Dodge Dart you have to get one that's about 50 years old.
