2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback, 22,632 miles, 4 speed automatic, 1.5L 14
I'm still looking for a used car and found this one with the VIN VNKKTUD30JA098591. This car was made in France. It is being offered for sale as a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. Strangely, Consumer Reports does not give reliability ratings for the 2012-2020 Toyota Yaris.
The 2018 Yaris looks like a Honda FIT. I watched a couple of 1-2 year old reviews on Youtube - and Scotty Kilmer did a review of a Yaris (he didn't mention the year) that was made in Japan; he gave it a good rating, mostly it seemed because it was made in Japan.
Is a Toyota Yaris made in France reliable? Appreciate any advice.
Well unfortunately I can't personally say because I've never worked on one that was made in France. All I can say is they've been making them in France since 2013 for the US models and I haven't seen any particular problems with them from people complaining. I just personally have never worked on one from France
I appreciate your comments, Scotty. I have watched many of your videos and trust your advice. I have heard from you about not buying a car made in Mexico and you have said that cars made in Canada are decent. And of course, I know your opinion about cars made in Japan. This is the first time I've come across a car made in France.
