My dad recently offered me his 2018 Nissan Murano with around 55k miles, and I wanted some opinions.
It’s a base model with the Nissan VQ35de engine and it has AWD and an X-Tronic CVT. My dad kept up with the service on the car, having the CVT fluid changed at around 45k miles.

If it’s maintained it’s a good car and at that age and mileage still holds a value. Are you paying for it or is he giving it to you?
- Depends on how long you need it to last and how much you have to pay. Those answers might change my answer but I rather stay away from a Nissan.
If he is giving it to you then definitely take it. If he is selling it to you then it depends on the price and your needs from a car. Do you need a suv or just need a car. Or if he is giving it to you either free or at a good price then see how much it is worth from places like Carmax, Vroom, etc. and if economically feasible take the money and get something better which in my opinion is a Honda or Toyota.
