Is it that these Honda’s are too efficient at managing heat, so to speak?
If the case be that all of these cars can start in winter no problems and after a bit the heaters don't work. Then it's a heater/ac problem not because the engine is "too efficient", no such thing as a engine that is super efficient. Gotta remember that heat is also energy. And modern gas cars at the maximum can only use 45ish% of that theoretical 100% energy produced, losing 55% again at that maximum to heat AT BEST. Honda for the most part is closer to the average of 35% power output losing say 65% to heat energy. So no. Not efficient.
It's for sure probably going to result in recalls of the Ac system/heating system in the future. I actually just had a friend today tell me that their 2015 heater went out here in cali so it's funny that this post was made haha. Told her to wait on the recall cause it's probably going to happen.
