Is it a good idea to put a remote starter in my 2017 Honda Accord LX?

Hello Scotty, I have 2017 Honda Accord Sedan LX with the I4 2.4 Engine and a Automatic CVT Transmission. I know the Touring trim and other trim levels have the remote starter but would it be possible to have one on my 2017 Honda Accord LX? Or would I have electrical issues as a result? And if i can put one on, where can I get an oem one? Any parts sites you use to get them?

No, it is not a good idea. Those systems and the people who install them are notorious for damaging vehicle electrical systems.

Exactly what @chucktobias said, don't touch the electronics on that car. It already has enough electronics on it and something like this if installed aftermarket is a recipe for electrical mess. And a person who can do something like this correctly and professionally isn't going to be cheap. Just don't do it.

Call the Honda dealer and see if they have any OEM equipment available for your car.
