Hey Scotty,
I recently replaced my radiator in my Jeep, and in the process lost alot of transmission fluid from the cooler return line. well, i replaced the return line and i added transmission fluid to the full line, drove it then checked to make sure it was "full". it was doing ok until 2 days ago, my engine would run fine till put in gear, then acts like it wants to die.
when i go drive, it back fires till i get up to 30 mph (checked sparkplugs and wires, tested distrubiter, tested fuel injectors. all the basic possible causes.. everything was perfect) so my question is...
what am i missing or is my transmission bout to go? (hopefully not)

Please show me the light when you can, thankyou sir
Well knowing those things the transmission probably is on its last legs but just because you put it in gear and it dies doesn't mean it's necessarily the transmission. Things like we fuel pump dirty fuel injectors faulty computer circuitry to injectors or ignition system can do that. If you need a Clarksville Tennessee I'd check them out for free but if not you're going to have to find a good mechanic to analyze it because it's not that easy to decipher where the problem lies without a fancy computer hooked up a road test taking when it acts up the data is recorded then played back and analyzed
