Scotty I have been looking at 2005-2008 Ford F-150 are they good vehicles and what should I look out for

Have a mechanic check out any truck you plan to purchase. Other than Toyota Tundras the F150s are best full size trucks on the market. Personally I would stay away from higher mileage trucks, anything over 150k I wouldn’t buy. F150’s tranny life max is usually 200-250k , unless it’s been abused or towed alot.

They can be great trucks and before you buy one Scotty recommends you take it to a mechanic who you trust to check the car before purchasing so you know what your getting into. Ask as many questions about the truck before buying as well to learn the history.
