should I change my spark plugs

My best to you and your family Scotty, from Toronto, Canada. My 2005 Buick Rendezvous AWD with the 3400 V6 has 178,000 kilometers. Owned since new. Have NEVER changed spark plugs or wires. GM says change them every 160,000 km. Should I? Car always starts quickly on cold start up... whereas when starting from normal operating temperature the engine sometimes has to crank longer before it starts, and occasionally will not start back until I try a 2nd time. Thank you for any advice! -Perry

pull them out and inspect. Couldn't hurt at your mileage.

I would.  Its not that hard of a job, and inspecting the electrodes can sometimes give clues to the health of the engine.  Then if you use good quality replacement plugs, at the rate you are going, you might never have to replace them again.

Good luck!

Thank you kindly. -Perry
