Hello Mr. Kilmer. My name is Nishantha Fonseka and first of all I'm not from the USA. I'm from Sri Lanka. They've banned all vehicle imports. So I'm left with buying a used car. I drive about 140 - 160km per week on normal asphalt roads. Is the 2017 Japanese Suzuki Swift RS Turbo 1.0l a good car for me to buy?

I would get the Toyota Vitz.

What are other options?

Well I guess of the same YOM there is the Toyota Vitz and the Honda Fit (1.5 turbo hybrid).

What about a good used Honda HR-V (Vezel), instead?

Thanks guys for your opinions. Well I guess I veered off the Toyota Vitz initially due to lools more than anything. I know its hard to beat Toyota reliability...!!

And secondly regarding the Honda HR-V Vezel.... I heard there were some problems in the initial models... Have they been rextified..? Is there any oil dillution issues...? And whatbwould the best model years to buy..?

Looks wise the Honda Vezel is better looking IMO.

Anyway thanks again guys for helping out. Hope you keep safe amidst the pandemic. God bless you and God bless Mr.Kilmer. He really is the best...👍

I feel you on the Vitz’s looks.. What engine is in the Vezel, in Srilanka?

Hey, I was just browsing along and low and behold there's a used 2011 Lexus CT 250H with119000km on it for a bargain price. Is this car of this particular YOM a good choice. Here in my country tweaking the odometer is notoriously prevalent. But if the figures are true what would your opinion be..?

Thanks again guys. Keep safe....

Bad idea to buy any used hybrid. I’d stay away..
