is this a good buy for first truck

First of all, what engine? Is it the 4.6 or 5.4 V8?
If its the 4.6 V8, I would consider it.
If its the 5.4 V8, those are horrible engines and I would run away.

Assuming its the 4.6 V8, I'd have a mechanic check it out to make sure it is in good shape, and then haggle on the price. 212k miles is a lot. But if everything checks out and you buy smart, it could be a great truck.

It’s not a bad price, start at $6k and see where it goes from there
If you can land it from 10-15% off the price it’s a good deal.
