Hey Scotty!
looking at buying a 2001 Toyota Camry LE with 93xxx miles automatic transmission. Has one owner and claims to be maintained. I will run the car fax if I feel like its a solid car once I test drive it. From the photos it at least looks clean but maybe there just handy at photoshop! just wondering if a 19 year old car can be used as a daily driver for about 40 highway miles a day????
Get a Haynes manual, eBay about $15.00.
@oldrangernut
they sell them at my local parts stores too. Very good value for money.
If that is the actual real mileage and car has not been wrecked or flooded you could probably drive it another 20 years
that sounds good to me thanks Scotty!
Scotty! I got that Camry and she is a beauty! she's been very well maintained and I want to keep It that way! Do you recommend a service manual for Toyotas or where I can get the OEM service manuals? Also how do I know service intervals?
is there a more in-depth manual or do you think the Haynes is all I need.
Those are great cars especially if it's the real mileage. Get it checked by a mechanic though. Highway driving in that thing should be no problem that could go another 15-20 years.
Pay for inspection. Ask mech to check if engine/trans have been swapped out. check for rust, leaks, etc. if it goes smoothly buy it
