No, the engine on that thing is one of the worst ever made.
You could get a Toyota Corolla for the price, so get one of those instead of a Hyundai.
Now the resale value on the Elantra is also horrible so that is also a horrible deal, look elswhere.

No it is not, a google search of Hyundai/Kia motor Co will pull up multiple class actions against them. They cannot build proper operating motors at all.
