Hey Scotty I want to restore a car and I found a 1978 Porsche 924 me and my buddy want to restore it. The asking price is 2,000 but Im pretty sure I can talk him down. He says its been sitting in his garage for over a decade and has 71,000 on it. And it has a 5 speed manual transmission.
If the vehicle has no rust, it might be something but I would rethink first because the parts for that car will be expensive.
He's only asking $2k for it, but it's been sitting for a while (luckily in a garage) so it will need to be gone through. But it has low miles so you should be able to reuse a decent amount of things, but parts are going to be expensive and hard to find for an older Porsche.
That would be a very expensive restoration for sure. What kind of budget would you have to throw at it?
