1994 Citroën ZX two-door ; 1.4; 55 kw; 171 571 km.
Car loses power on the highway. There is no problem accelerating; but when maintaining steady speed for 20-30 minutes; the car starts slowing down on its own with no reaction to the gas pedal. After restarting; this dissapears. Sometimes when overtaking; there seems to be a problem with picking up power. As if the car started decreasing torque by itself. No problems starting in the morning; no lights on the dash.

Check the fuel pressure with an analog gauge. Change the fuel filter, it may be clogged.

The fuel pump is on its way out.
Probably right.
