Some auto shops offer a top treat option when you change your oil. They let it run through the engine for 5 mins. Is this okay for an older car ? 100,000 + miles

It is undoubtedly a scam unless maybe you're driving something like a 1949 Hudson. However, you did not provide any vehicle details requested per forum instructions.

if you change your oil on time you don't need any treatments
