i have a 2007 Nissan Murano. Im replacing one of the wheel studs on the front wheel. I read you can draw it through with washers and a lug nut. The issue is that once it gets so tight the sryd just starts turning while I tighten it and it wont draw through. Any ideas on what i can do to draw it in. I just have hand tools no electric tools. Thank you!

You need to stop the stud from turning.

  1. Add two more (plain, flat) nuts to the tip of the stud (the end facing you ), and then jam them together such that the faces align.
  2. Then put a breaker bar, big wrench, or something on the jam nuts to keep the stud from turning.
  3. Tighten your 1st nut the way you've been doing.

Hey, I'm stuck in the same situation as Taylor, I did as you said and it keeps on spinning, do you recommend to take the hub off and use a press?

A press will work too
