I am having issues with my 2005 nissan Xterra 4x4. My Xterra has 227,000 miles on it. This issue i am having trouble figuring out. I am able to start my vehicle and drive it. The issue is my dashboard will shut off,  the A/C goes from vents to defrost and i am not able to accelerate. Engine stays on as does my radio and A/C,(blows thru defrost) after a few minutes everything will come back on and i am able to drive again. This happens whether i am activley driving or just sitting in vehicle idling in my driveway. I have changed the ignition switch but that hasnt helped. Any help or information would be appreciated. Once everyhting turns off inside if i were to turn off vehicle everything comes on immeditaely, and if i restart vehicle everything turns off again until the vehicle decises to turn dashboard back on. This has been very frustrwting trying to find someone who has had this problem before. Much less getting someone to diagnose it properly.
