Scotty, I’m hoping to trade in my aging 2012 Wrangler Sport 2-door for something built better and easier on gas. Which Japanese-built models does Toyota currently import into the US?

This is just a partial list of Toyota’s and where they are made for the North American market:
Sienna = Princeton, IN
Avalon, Camry, Lexus ES = Georgetown, KY
Tundra, Tacoma = San Antonio, TX (but Tacoma will eventually be 100% assembled in Mexico)
Lexus RX = Cambridge, Ontario (Canada)
For ones made in Japan (and shipped to North America) again partial list:
-Toyota 4runner
-Toyota Prius
-Lexus GS (discontinued)
-Lexus GX and LX
-Lexus IS
-Lexus LS and LC
But, I wouldn’t shy away from a Toyota product made in North America.
