I bought an oil dipstick adapter from strictly diesel and am not sure how to take the old one off because somebody used JB weld steel stick is it safe to use a torch right there next to where the starter would be, I don't need the oil igniting if that's possible. so far I had to remove the starter to be able to do this job. feedback and input is greatly appreciated, why aren't we able to post pictures here. Or am I just not seeing how?

Not enough space for pictures but you can make any kind of YouTube video and then post a link to that now you could use a small propane torch there but not an oxygen acetylene
