Jeep insanity

Scotty,

I've got a couple issues with my 09 Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7L.

First problem, I start the Jeep, drive a short distance like to the store. I shut the engine off for maybe 5 minutes, try to restart, turns over no fire. I have to shut everything down, wait about 10 minutes and it will fire right up. Only way to get it to start sooner is to use starting fluid. I though maybe the fuel pump was getting weak but it at least sounds like it's working fine.

2nd problem, I'm having an issue where often the front windows won't work, door locks won't work except with the remote, radio won't turn off when opening drivers door with key off and some light will not turn on when opening drivers door. Sammy's, an auto electric specialist in Champaign Illinois replaced some module for $200+ but the problem persists.

Someone suggested the ignition module but honestly I can't even find where it is. It's not under the hood with the rest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sound is not an adequate test. Use a pressure gauge. Check out the FAQ for car won't start.

Often the door wires break from bending back and forth.
