- I'm about to buy a manual jeep tj with 120k miles. Its a long distance purchase but, the guy wants 5200usd. He took it for an inspection a couple weeks ago and it passed inspection except that it has a slow leak from the steering gear box other than that it looks like its in pretty good shape. There's some surface rust but, it doesn't look too bad. It has a decent service history, I'm just going to run a carfax on it and get a shop in the area to comb it over before I go out there and look at it for myself. I'm planning on making this my DD and doing weekend 4x4ing. Also i posted a pic of the inspection and buddy fixed everything except for the steering gear box. I'm hoping to get at least another 100k miles out of it, is this a reasonable expectation?
Am I missing anything? Your channel is awesome, thanks!

Well it is a manual transmission that's the automatic so give the most grief on those so have a mechanic check it out of course but if he says it's okay it could be a decent vehicle
