Hello.  I have a 2015 jeep cherokee latitude 4×4. 72000 miles 3.2 v6 engine I put in into drive and rpms went up and wanted to take off? What could be wrong?

Those Jeep Cherokees have very weak automatic transmissions - they're notorious for having all kinds of problems. On most cars, the RPMs go up a little when you put the car in drive. But, if it's jerky, lurchy, or shaky then the transmission or torque converter is just wearing out. 70K-80K miles or so is about when those Jeeps start having transmission problems so I would just live with it. It's not really worth putting a new transmission or torque converter into that that thing.

The torque converter?

Ya, that sounds like a torque converter to me those are usually pretty weak in those cars.
