I have a 2000 Toyota sienna with 153,000 miles on it and anytime I put in drive and go forward it the transmission makes the jetsons putting sound and gets faster as the vehicle accelerates and slows as the vehicle slows down everything shifts well and it doesn't do any else other than make the annoying sound my mechanic thought it was the cv axle but after replaceing it the noise still occurs any idea what it might be and if it is something that needs immediate attention?

Live with it probably something internal warrant on a transmission as long as it shifts cost a fortune to rebuild those things and they can often run years making odd noises
