Mr scotty my parents are leasing a jetta but after the lease they are gonna give it to my sister if she starts to drive any thoughts or should I buy my sister a Toyota corolla

I would go with the Corolla, no question.

The Corolla is a much better car but if they really are just going to give it to her it's tough to beat a free set of wheels. In that case I'd be tempted to take the Jetta and run it until something expensive goes wrong with it. (Or, she could always sell it and buy a Corolla with the proceeds.)

Can you be more specific? Year, mileage, price, title, etc? Corollas are solid cars, but try to be more specific please.
