We have a 2011 Mazda CX-7 with a really jumpy or jerky takeoff. I did the “water hose vacuum leak check” and hear no issues or engine change.
In gear sometimes it will not jerk when taking off but then there is that moment when everyone in the car (except me) decides to take a drink of their coffee at the exact time the light changes to green and whoosh!

Has it been scanned for codes, preferably with a professional-grade scan tool?
How old are basic items like gas filter, air filter, spark plugs?
