First i want to say your videos are helpful. Thank you for them. What are the best year models for toyota highlanders, honda pilots,Lexus  rx 350. I desire 4 wheel drive really but will settle with all wheel drive possibly. Looking at 15ish being top price range. The 4 runner i had was not a perfect one ran like a dream. It was the v8 4 wheel drive all the time model and gas mileage for some reason was better than others. All vehicles seem to be very expensive right now and i am looking at these and see okay prices for these suvs that you pointed out. Any other suggestions send them my way soon please. Clock is ticking i just got to jump out and get something. Not a fan of the Acura RDX. Sure its nice. ANY PICKUP TRUCKS THAT WILL GET HIGH MILEAGE WOULD BE GREAT ALSO.

thank you for your time!

All of the vehicles you said are very good choices. It all comes down to what factors you want in your vehicle. If you want an SUV for everyday circumstances, get the Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. I hope I get the cylinder deactivation right @daywalker. Honda Pilots have cylinder deactivation for 2005 and up for FWD models. So disable the cylinder deactivation system. If you want luxury, get the Lexus RX350. For trucks, get either the Toyota Tundra or Toyota Tacoma for the price you're willing to pay. I am not personally sure what model years are great. Other peers will be able to help you.

I'll take the trucks...

The 5.7 Tundra is definitely not a high fuel milage truck. Nor is a 5.0 F-150 or a 5.3 Silverado/Sierra. So if fuel economy is important to you, I can't recommend really any half ton or above pickup.

As for small trucks, your budget as stated is 15K.

I did a nationwide search on Autotrader, and was able to find tons of small trucks such as Rangers, Colorados, Canyons, and Tacomas with under 100K miles, assuming you're OK with an older used vehicle.

I think you're better off looking at SUV's for your parameters though. And I agree with others in saying that any of the vehicles you listed above are good choices. Just get whatever you decide you like inspected by a trusted mechanic.

Good luck!
