I have a 2007 uplander, 3.9 with about 160000 miles sometimes when I come to a stop, when I go to take off it doesn’t go for a few seconds, like you put it neutral then put back in drive( will rev up to about 2000 rpm) it doesn’t do it all the time, might go for months or maybe a couple weeks, I have changed filter, fluid, hasn’t made any difference. It works good in all the other gears, no slippage when shifting or general driving, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Glen

Your transmission is going out. Drain a quarter of the ATF and add Lucas transmission additive and pray it works.
