Hi Scotti
I am wondering with all the engine fires. On the GDI engines is the fuel pressure relieved when the car is shut off. If not there would be upwards of 1000 PSI all the time from the high pressure pump to the injectors. A pin hole leak could cause a fire while the car is sitting. I just bought a 2019 Sorento for my wife so now I am getting worried. Of coarse already bought a 2021 Sorento.
Just don't tell my wife. {black}

Hyundai and Kia warned that engines in almost 500,000 of their cars may spontaneously catch fire. The issue lies in an electrical component in their anti-lock brake systems that could short circuit. In the meantime, both automakers advised owners to park outdoors and away from buildings.
