Hello Scotty I have a 2015 Kia Optima with 49400 miles that I bought my wife new in 2015. Been a totally trouble free car so far since mileage low. Since then I have got hooked on your channel so would not have bought a Kia had I known all the problems with them. Well I have it and I always keep a car for many many years. My wife has since got a newer suv but I kept the car for myself to have a spare only put 4K on it last year. Anyway got a letter from Kia saying they are extending the warranty to lifetime on the engine block crankshaft connecting rods rod bearings etc. If you have the software update for the knock sensor which I do. I also have all maintenance records. Do all my own maintenance and oil changes and only use Kia Hyundai oil filters and parts with receipts. What are your thoughts on the warranty extension? Do you think Kia will follow through should I or any Kia owners with these theta engines need them to?
